1.Lectures

1.1 Why Learn Photoshop.

Adobe Photoshop is a user-friendly software program and also supplies great deals of one-of-a-kind tools that assist you to release your imagination.


  • Express your creativity
  • Create graphic design
  • Restoration of old images
  • Integrate graphics with text artistically
  • Make use of brushes
  • Change photo color
  • Rectify mistakes in photographs

1.2 Photography Manipulation& Digital Imaging

1.2.1 Photography Manipulation

Photographers combined multiple images on one negative, captivating the curiosity and creativity of photographers dating back to the 1850s.Photograph manipulation involves the transformation or alteration of a photograph using various methods and techniques to achieve desired results.

1.2.2 Digital Imaging

Digital imaging converts the printed text, artwork, and photographs into digital images using a digital scanner or another imaging device.

  • Removing details: Remove distracting or unwanted elements
  • Adding details: Change facial features,adding elements
  • Photomontage: To pair images to suggest a relationship or create an entirely new image with a composite meaning. 
  • False captioning: Context of what a photograph purportedly portrays is falsified to distort the meaning.


1.3 Tips for becoming a successful designer

  • Learn from tutorials to save time. IG short videos are faster and easier to learn. YT is too long
  • Accumulate experience and become familiar with the software
  • Remember keyboard shortcuts
  • Try to copy other people's works
  • Participate in design competitions and understand market demand through comparison and evaluation with others
  • Follow online galleries to receive the latest designs
  • Organize folders well and make them clear and not messy

Web Portfolio

Description: By expressing various contents through web design, people can resonate with a sense of life. What I feel is that inspiration is like a browser with countless pages opened, which is diverse but unique.


This Poster expressed : 

  • The layout uses a layered approach to display the work, arranging designs of different styles together in a reasonable way.

  • The rectangular page with a trapezoidal design gives the picture a three-dimensional sense of file establishment.

  • The colors used are mainly black, white and gray as the support, and blue as the main color of the picture.

Dairy Illustration

Description:The common journal format becomes a space where small illustrations can be expressed just right.

This Poster expressed : 

  • The adjustment of colors allows different illustration designs to maintain the same style.

  • The control of color proportions allows the design to have a proper sense of space with white space, making green the finishing touch.

  • The text changes direction and font size with the illustrations and content.

  • This notebook is an illustration book that a Japanese mother uses to record her life during the parenting process, presenting the details of life beautifully.

Breathing Design ( by Design & Paper )

Description:The translucent material allows the story behind the paper to be vaguely revealed.


This Poster expressed : 

  • By folding, the fonts are stacked together to form complete words. 

  • It better interprets the artistic conception of the content. 

  • Paper that can interact with people can arouse people's interest in understanding the content more than just flipping through it.




3. Reflection

In addition to reviewing, taking time to organize the content and knowledge learned in class can also remind yourself in the future to know clearly what you have learned each week, instead of being confused and thinking that time has been wasted.
