1.1 Layer interface

1.2 Tool box: Can expand the tools sets to reveal additional tools.

1.3.1 Lasso tool: draw and pinpoint specific areas

Pentools: create extremely precise shapes and paths,not natively made as a “selection tool”

Advantage of using Layers
- Can use layers for non-destructive editing.
- Adjustments in Photoshop will never destroy the original image.
- Contain all the extra information and/ or images you want to add to the original file.
- Save a Photoshop file with all the layers included.
