3.1 Quote
”It has been said that time heals all wounds. The truth is that time does not heal anything. It merely passes. It is what we do during the passing of time that helps or hinders the healing process.” – Jay Marshall
3.2 Moodboard/Storyboard
3.3 Progress
3.3.1 Adobe illustrator
3.3.2 Using Capcut software
3.3.3 Adding motion script & filter effects
3.4 Final Outcome
- The plot uses the technique of three-acts structure: introduction, development, turn and conclusion, with a lonely beginning and a transition to the joining of friends, and finally a happy ending with opening up the heart. In addition to being able to express the content of the copy well, such a story can also make readers interested in the story.
- Each illustration uses the subject to subject technique to express the content and plot, expressing the inner state of the protagonist when he is alone, and then opening up his heart to receive the care of friends, making the story coherent.
- This work uses color and visual movement to guide the visuals, allowing the audience to receive the content of the illustrations as the camera moves. Therefore, even without complex composition, the audience can focus on the screen.

4.Reflection
Week 11
I chose my favorite quote as the theme of the video and started planning the storyboards. I also referred to some popular video formats/styles and background music on social media, which gave me more references for this assignment.
Week 12
After having a relatively complete plan and moodboard content, I updated the professor on my progress: color story screens, text distribution, and animation movement methods. Since this is still within the scope of the assignment, there are still restrictions on the video format, and students can only design in a fixed format.
Week 13
This is the first time I tried to use the text-to-speech function in the Capcut software. By adjusting the voice to determine the atmosphere of the entire video, the quality of the video was greatly improved. I also tried various editing methods to make simple illustrations full of emotion and atmosphere. In addition, dynamic subtitles also make the video less boring and effectively guide the audience to watch. Although the operation is troublesome, the effect is very good. Next, I will continue to improve the introduction document of this video work, and this semester is coming to an end.
Week 14
The professor’s feedback mentioned that the eportfolio needs to include how the knowledge learned is applied in the work, so I added an additional item "technique applied" to describe what specific techniques and knowledge I used in this work.
